La montaña de arco iris, conocido como la montaña de 7 colores, montaña colorada, montaña Vinicunca, es un lugar mágico donde sus caminos eran parte de la antigua cultura quechua, y que se utiliza para intercambiar sus productos (productos de trueque), junto con las otras regiones Quechuas, ahora se ha convertido en una maravilla natural parecida a la montaña de arco iris de la china.

Estar en buenas condiciones fisicas para realizar el tour con normalidad. Recordar que la caminata para llegar es mas de 1 hora y nuevamente el mismo tiempo para el retorno. Ademas que se asciende en altura asi que es recomendable adaptarse a las condiciones de altitud en Cusco y también al clima, pueden llevar algun medicamento preventivo como hoja de Coca o caramelos de Coca.
